Curation criteria

CloudMac is a curated directory, not an exhaustive list. A provider must meet all of these requirements:

1. Genuine Apple hardware: dedicated physical Macs, or macOS virtual machines running on Apple hardware. We do not list Hackintosh systems or ordinary VPS products styled to look like Macs.
2. Public pricing: clear prices are available on the official website.
3. Available to order: customers can order online or use a clearly published sales channel.
4. Operational: the website works, information is reasonably current and there are no clear signs of fraud or abandonment.

Where the data comes from

• Data comes from official provider websites. Each plan includes its source page and observation date.
• When the official site does not state something clearly, we mark it “Not specified” rather than guessing.
• We verify listings manually, then recheck them periodically or sync a provider’s direct data feed. Material changes appear in Updates.

Listings and sponsorship

• Listings are free. Sponsorship cannot qualify a provider that does not meet these criteria.
• Sponsorship does not influence the default ranking. Paid placements are clearly marked.
• Providers may be removed after serious, persistent problems such as unavailable ordering, abandonment or widespread credible complaints.
